Physicals are required by most school systems as a prerequisite for participating in certain activities. Aurora Immediate Care will often have your school's physical form on file. Let our medical clinic help in getting your student's school physical. With our walk in center open late into the evening and on the weekends, our medical clinic makes it simpler to get a school physical at your convenience. A Medicare-approved wellness physical follows specific steps designed to help you stay healthy and prevent future medical problems. The goal of this visit is to spot risk factors early and provide guidance for maintaining your overall health.
During your Medicare wellness physical, you can expect:
A health risk assessment, including a review of your family medical history
A review of your current medications and medical providers
Routine measurements such as height, weight, and blood pressure
An evaluation for memory loss or dementia
A personalized consultation with your physician
Health screenings and preventive care services based on your needs and risk factors
Medicare Part B covers one wellness physical each year. While the visit itself is included, additional tests or services may not be fully covered. Our physicians and staff are here to guide you through your benefits and answer any questions.
